UPDATE

Tickets for the “Coronation” livestream go on sale today, July 10. You can buy them from the promoter here.

There are 4 ticket categories, starting at €12,99 (which is about $15 US). All tickets get you access to watch the show live. Additional levels include 48 hour access, a pre-show Q&A, and a post-show meet-and-greet. The Gold and Diamond levels are limited to 50 tickets each, and they’ll probably sell out right away.

I’ve been patiently waiting for this announcement. Earlier today, VNV Nation announced a live streaming concert called “Coronation.” Can you imagine the thousands of fans around the world tuning in for this? It will be a truly global event.

The concert will be broadcast on August 29 at 9 PM CET. (Check local times.) It’s listed as a 2-hour show, and the event description promises “a full-length, high production, live-stream-only arena concert, broadcast worldwide from Germany.”

You can RSVP to the Facebook event here.

It’s a ticketed show, but there’s no word yet how much tickets will cost. Also, there are going to be “different ticket categories,” which is surprising for a livestream. I guess we’ll find out what that means. Ticket info will be posted July 8, and they go on sale July 10.

Personally, I’m happy to pay for tickets for this livestream because these events support musicians and crew who have been out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

VNV Nation recently performed their first-ever drive-in concert at the Hamburg cruise terminal. You can watch videos from that show here.
