Listen to the Komor remix of Zeromancer’s “Mourners”

Sebastian Komor turns this song into a club-friendly banger.

Zeromancer

Industrial rock band from Norway, Zeromancer, has a new track out called “Mourners” that comes with three excellent remixes. This song is beautiful, but Sebastian Komor takes it to another level by giving it a hard beat and club-friendly sound. Additional remixes come courtesy of Electro Spectre and Rotersand.

Sebastian Komor is a prolific remixer and artist. He’s recently created remixes for Celldweller, For All the Emptiness, and 11grams. But you probably know him best as one-half of the futurepop duo Icon of Coil.

“Mourners” appears to be somewhat inspired by the isolation we all felt during the pandemic. On Facebook, Zeromancer says, “Mourners is a message to the lonely. Lonely in life or lonely at heart. Never give up. Lonely don’t have to last forever. There is always a twin soul out there somewhere!”

Zeromancer announced that “Mourners” will appear on their upcoming album, Orchestra of Knives. It’s the album’s second single. The first, “Damned le Monde,” also received electro remixes, and I included the Re-Manipulation Mix by This Eternal Decay on my list of the best songs of February 2021.

You can find “Mourners” on Spotify and other platforms.
