German electro project Fractal Age has released a moody, black-and-white video for their new single “Home.” The song is dark, sinister futurepop with lyrics that reflect emotional distress and despair with the modern world.
“Home” is from Fractal Age’s second album, Another Way, which arrived in late January. It also features the track “Run,” which I included on my list of the best synthpop songs of January.
Fractal Age formed in West Germany as a trio in 2017. Its current members are Jens, one of the musicians behind Chainreactor, and vocalist Sascha. They released their debut album, Modern World, in 2019. It included the single “Red.”
