ACTORS are back! The post-punk quartet from Vancouver, Canada released a new song and video today called “Love U More.”
The video is seeped in drab grey mist and is appropriately Halloween-themed with a zombie storyline. The four members of the band appear dead on stage, though their signature blend of driving rhythms, warping synths, and fresh melodies lives on.
“Love U More” is the first new ACTORS song since their incredible 2018 album, It Will Come to You, which was my favorite album of the year. They single-handedly revived my interest in post-punk.
There’s no word yet if “Love U More” will appear on an upcoming full-length, but I believe they’ve been in the studio recording a new album.
