Pet Shop Boys quietly released a new song on Friday that’s probably one of the best tracks they’ve made in years. It’s called “An Open Mind,” and it sounds like classic Pet Shop Boys.
“An Open Mind” appears as the B-side to Pet Shop Boys’ latest single, “Dreamland,” a collaboration with a rising British synthpop band called Years & Years. The B-sides are always better!
There’s also a third track called “No Boundaries” that Neil and Chris wrote for the new musical adaptation of “My Beautiful Laundrette,” which is currently touring the UK. You can find all three songs on Spotify.
Both “An Open Mind” and “Dreamland” will appear on the next Pet Shop Boys album, which is coming out January 24, 2020. There’s no title yet.
