GCTM coming in May 2020

This is a killer collection of albums from electro-industrial legends Front Line Assembly.

Here’s the official announcement from the record label:

“Artoffact Records is proud to present the complete Third Mind/Roadrunner recordings by Canadian industrial band Front Line Assembly. The 12 LP Boxset includes the four albums that made Front Line Assembly a household name:

  • Gashed Senses & Crossfire
  • Caustic Grip
  • Tactical Neural Implant
  • Millennium

ALL on limited edition splatter vinyl. 250 copies worldwide. No represses. Remastered audio.”

You can order it here. It ain’t cheap: $325.

The boxset cover art is from another legend, artist Dave McKean, who has been designing Front Line Assembly’s album covers since 1994. McKean also created every cover for the complete run of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series.

GCTM also includes a previously unreleased Front Line Assembly track called “Feeder” that comes on clear vinyl with either silver or gold foil lettering. They’ll be randomly inserted in the boxsets.

They’re also including all associated singles and remixes from the four albums. The tracklisting features a bunch of hard-to-find remixes of famous FLA songs like “No Limit” and “Mindphaser” (which, incidentally, is one of the greatest industrial music videos ever). It also comes with an exclusive GCTM t-shirt.

Artoffact says they’ll be shipping around May 4, 2020. The complete boxset is $325. It looks like the storefront also has each individual album available on yellow vinyl for $66.66.

Most important part: REMASTERED AUDIO. I really, really want to hear Tactical Neural Implant with improved audio quality.

No word yet if any of GCTM will make its way to digital platforms.
