Mexican synth artist Nórdika has released a music video for his latest single, “Like Stars.” The song features vocals from Henrik Iversen, the voice of legendary synthpop band NamNamBulu.
“Like Stars” is the second time that Nórdika has collaborated with Henrik. In 2015, they worked together on the song “Fly.” The “Like Stars” single includes remixes from Eloquent, Neuroactive, and Ien Oblique. On Bandcamp, he writes:
“Like Stars” is about farewell, leaving in peace while keeping love.
Henrik’s voice should be instantly familiar to fans of futurepop and German electronic. His band, NamNamBulu, is hugely influential on the dark music scene today and known for many famous songs like “Now or Never,” “Alone,” and “Memories.”
Nórdika has been busy working on a new album, which doesn’t have a title or release date yet. In addition to “Like Stars,” he’s also released a single called “Rain” that features vocals from Helena Wigeborn of the band Train to Spain. Both of these songs will likely appear on the forthcoming album.
