Today is a big, big day for new music.

Unroyal is a new Swedish synthpop band that I just adore, and they have released their debut album, Mainstream. They make charming, timeless synthpop with really beautiful lyrics.

Faderhead is out with his tenth studio album, Asteria. There’s no bassline like a Faderhead bassline, and his lyrics continue to evolve with every release. I like how a lot of his songs, such as “Dancing All Alone” on this album, are about people he encounters in clubs.

Red Mecca is a band I’ve been following for a while. On their latest album, Truth, they have a new singer who takes the project in a new direction that combines crooner vocals with atmospheric synths.

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark released a massive singles collection spanning four decades of hits. Every song has been digitally remastered. “Tesla Girls” has never sounded better!
