Rotersand’s new album is out now! How Do You Feel Today is the beloved German band’s sixth full-length.
Upon first listen, much of it sounds darker than previous efforts, and there’s a nice variety of song styles from pounding dancefloor anthems to softer-drawn ballads. There’s also a surprising variety of instrumentation, including guitars on “Silence” and blasting horns on last year’s big single “You Know Nothing.”
Favorite track so far: I’m really digging “Blind Vision,” Rotersand’s electrified cover of the old Blancmange song. These lyrics from 1982 seem applicable today: “Blind visions and no reasons for action blind words.”
