Eisfabrik

German futurepop band Eisfabrik have released a new EP called Automatisierung in der Eisfabrik. The release contains remixes of songs from their most recent album and several unreleased tracks.

Eisfabrik’s most recent album, Kryothermalmusik aus der Eisfabrik, came out in January. It’s their fifth studio album, and it’s a fantastic collection of futurepop that contains great songs like “Grim Reaper” and “Back Home.”

Honestly, the new songs on the EP feel like leftovers from the album session that didn’t make the cut. “Bleeding Hearts” is probably the best of these.

There’s an acoustic guitar version of an Eisfabrik song, “We Don’t Care,” which is not something I ever expected to hear. Singer Charly Barth-Ricklefs’ baritone kinda makes it sound like a country music song.

You can find Automatisierung in der Eisfabrik on Spotify.
