The rapidly emerging electronic music project j:dead has a new single out today called “Hold Tight.” It includes remixes from Rotersand, The Saint Paul, and Station Echo.

“Hold Tight” is the second single from j:dead’s most recent EP, Vision of Time, which was released earlier this year. He previously released the EP’s first single “I’ll Wait,” which arrived last December with a music video.

Vision of Time is the first of two EPs j:dead plans to release this year. The second EP is expected in late 2022.

J:dead emerged on the music scene last year with his debut album, A Complicated Genocide, which I included on my list of the best albums of 2021. It featured the singles, “Feeding On Me” and “A Complicated Genocide.”

In addition to his solo work, j:dead has been doing remixes and making guest appearances. He most recently appeared as the featured vocalist on an excellent track by Menschdefekt called “Secular Days.”

You can find “Hold Tight” on Bandcamp and Spotify.
