Swedish synthpop newcomers Cold Connection have released their first-ever music video. It’s for the song “Burning Love” from their incredible debut album, Seconds of Solitude, one of the best releases of the year.
“Burning Love” is a dark synthpop gem with gorgeous vocals and mysterious electronic noises that flitter across the beat. It sounds both classic and modern at the same time. The music video features characters in period costumes mingling at an elegant cocktail party that reminds me of the Netflix show “Bridgerton.”
Cold Connection is one of the most promising new bands on the dark synth scene. They are a duo comprised of vocalist Daniel Billqvist and musician Pontus Olsson.
