Swedish synthpop trio MORE released a new music video today for their latest single, “Provoked by Motions.” It’s quite a bit darker than what we’ve heard previously from MORE.
“Provoked by Motions” is the first taste of MORE’s forthcoming sophomore album, which will feature a darker tone than their debut album. They’ve yet to reveal the album’s title or release date.
In late 2020, MORE released their debut, From the Past, which contained the bouncy single, “Constant Loop.” I included “Constant Loop” on my list of the best synthpop songs of 2020.
MORE is musicians Mattias Jönsson and Lino Avian and singer/songwriter Magnus Dahlberg. They make melancholic synthpop “with a retro shimmering tone and a current state of mind.”
